Washington County Sheriff’s Office weekly Report for February 7 - February 13, 2014

The Sheriff’s Office responded to 76 calls for service. 17 of those calls were vehicle accidents. Notable complaints are listed below:

Deputy Chris Donahue responded to a possible knife wound in Princeton. Chief Alex Nicholas assisted Deputy Donahue. The individual was very agitated and had to be placed in wrist restraints. An ambulance was called and the individual was transported to the Calais Regional Hospital.

Deputy Dennis Worcester investigated a burglary in Jonesboro. A residence was stripped of all the copper. Investigation continues.

Lt Travis Willey conducted a bail check in Steuben. The subject had a bail condition of no use or possession of intoxicants. The subject was in compliance with the bail conditions.

Sgt Ralph Pineo conducted a bail check in Baileyville. The subject had a bail condition of no use or possession of intoxicants. The subject was in compliance with the bail conditions.

Deputy Dennis Worcester assisted Sgt James Malloy of the Milbridge Police Dept. with a bail check in Milbridge. The subject had a bail condition of no use or possession of intoxicants. The subject was arrested for being intoxicated and transported to the Washington County Jail.

Deputy Dennis Worcester investigated a criminal mischief incident in Pembroke. A boat was damaged that was parked at the Pembroke town landing. Investigation continues.

Deputy Dennis Worcester conducted a bail check in Jonesport. The subject had a bail condition of no use or possession of intoxicants. The subject was in compliance with the bail conditions.

Sgt Brandon Parker investigated a criminal threatening complaint in Addison. An individual had made threatening statements to a family member. No charges at this time. Investigation continues.

Deputy Christopher Donahue conducted a bail check in Baileyville. The subject had a bail condition of no use or possession of intoxicants. The subject was in compliance with the bail conditions.

Deputy Gregory Sawyer executed a civil order of arrest in Baileyville. Subject was taken to Calais District Court and released with a new payment plan.

Deputy Dennis Worcester investigated a criminal threatening in Harrington. An individual made threats against another person on Facebook. Deputy Worcester spoke with both parties and they agreed not to have any contact with each other. No charges.

Sgt Brandon Parker investigated a report of fraud in Lubec. An elderly couple was getting phone calls that they were going to be summonsed for problems with their social security. No money or personal information was transferred. Deputy Parker determined that the number was false.

Lt Timothy Tabbutt responded to an assault in Cherryfield. A female said she had been assaulted. The individual was located, arrested for assault and transported to the Washington County Jail.

Lt Timothy Tabbutt responded to a report of suspicious activity in Addison. A female was going from apartment to apartment pounding on the doors and peaking in windows. The female refused to stop and was arrested for disorderly conduct and transported to the Washington County Jail.

Deputy Christopher Donahue responded to a burglary in Baileyville at the Foodliner. A front window had been broken out and liquor was missing. A male subject was later seen walking in the area and had liquor in his backpack. The male was arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail. Border Patrol Agents and the Chief of Baileyville Police Dept. assisted.
