WEEKLY REPORT WASHINGTON COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE 06/20/11 TO 06/26/11

ITEMS OF INTEREST:

06/20/11:

Deputy Ryan Allen responded to a report of an accident at Johnson’s Mobil in Pembroke. Caller stated that she was backed into and the other vehicle continued driving. Case is under investigation.

Deputy Ryan Allen responded to a report of criminal mischief on the Smith Ridge Road in Cutler. Caller reported that a vehicle pulled near her residence and threw her private property signs into the roadway and onto the lawn. Caller gave plate number. Case is under investigation.

Deputy Ryan Allen responded to a report of a suicidal subject on the Station Road in Jonesboro. Subject was kept on the phone until units arrived. Subject was taken to Downeast Community Hospital.

Deputy Ryan Allen responded to a call of shots fired in Marshfield. Received a report from a caller that subject was drinking a beer across from his house and shooting a gun and it was ricocheting off a piece of metal and flying over his house. The weapon was secured and subject was transported to the Washington County Jail.

Deputy Ryan Allen responded to a call of shots fired in Cutler on the Bear Beach Ackley Road.

Deputy Ralph Pineo responded to a report of a residential burglary on the Straight Bay Road in Lubec. Caller advised that his trailer was broken into and the only thing he knew that was missing at this point was 7-8 DVDs. Case is under investigation.

Deputy Sergeant Richard Rolfe and Deputy Ryan Allen responded to a commercial alarm at Johnson’s Town Line Auto on Main Street in East Machias. Subject threw a rock through the window of the store and broke a cooler door also. A canine unit was dispatched to assist at the scene. Case is under investigation.

06/21/11:

Deputy Sergeant Randy Perry responded to a report of suspicious activity on the Route 1A Bridge in Milbridge. Caller stated that there was an adult male and a little boy leaning over the bridge and swearing at vehicles as they drove by. The subjects were gone on arrival of Deputy Perry.

Deputy Sergeant Randy Perry responded to a report of underage drinking in Addison. The subjects were gone on arrival.

Deputy Sergeant Randy Perry responded to a report from Elmer’s County Store of a gas drive off. Caller stated that he believes it was unintentional.


Deputy Ryan Allen responded to a caller who reported that his identity was stolen. Caller received a telephone bill from AT&T with about five different phone lines requiring him to pay about five hundred dollars. Case is under investigation.

Deputy Sergeant Richard Rolfe responded to a report of stolen medication on the Lubec Road. Caller stated that her mother reported to her that she couldn’t find her pills which were a three month prescription. Caller’s mother also reported to her that when the oil delivery man came he noticed that her cellar door was broken open and he helped her to reinforce it. Caller came to Lubec to meet with Deputy Richard Rolfe. Case is under investigation.


6/22/11:

Deputy Sergeant Randy Perry responded to a report of criminal trespass on the Pea Ridge Road in Jonesboro.

Deputy Sergeant Randy Perry responded to a complaint of criminal mischief on the East Side Road in Addison. Caller stated that he believed that someone tried to steal his vehicle. Caller stated that the key was broken off in the ignition. Case is under investigation.

Deputy Sergeant Randy Perry responded to a well being check on Route 1 in Milbridge. Subject was lying on the ground on the side of the road by the Fairpoint Building. Subject stated that he had a toothache. Sergeant Perry gave the subject a ride home.

Deputy Brandon Parker responded to a motor vehicle crash on the County Road in Lubec.

Deputy Sergeant Randy Perry responded to a complaint of domestic dispute on the Landing Road in Addison. Caller stated that her daughter notified her through texting her boyfriend would not allow her to leave.

Deputy Ryan Allen responded to a residential alarm on Yoho Head in Machiasport.

Deputy Ryan Allen responded to a complaint of harassment on Main Street in Lubec. Caller stated that her neighbor was verbally harassing her. Caller reported that it had not gotten physical but that the neighbor was calling to her from across the street.

Deputy Sergeant Richard Rolfe responded to a report of a residential alarm on Victoria Lane in Milbridge.

Deputy Sergeant Richard Rolfe responded to a well being check on the Indian River Road on Addison.

Deputy Sergeant Richard Rolfe responded to a car/deer accident in Jonesport. Caller advised that deer was killed in the accident and he was not injured.

6/23/11:

Deputy Lt. Travis Willey did a bail check on the Palmers Landing Road in East Machias.

Deputy Lt. Travis Willey did a bail check on the Lead Mine Road in Lubec.

Deputy Sergeant Tim Tabbutt received a missing persons report from the East Side Road in Addison. Caller stated that her son was missing for a few hours and she has been driving around trying to find him but was unable to find him.

Deputy Ralph Pineo did a well being check in Cutler Harbor.

Deputy Sergeant Tim Tabbutt gave an agency assist to the Belfast PD on Washington Street in Milbridge. A caller to the Belfast PD stated that she had found a purse in the middle of the road in Ellsworth and wanted an officer to come a pick it up from her.

Deputy Brandon Parker responded to a residential alarm at Yoho Road in Machiasport.

6/24/11:

Deputy Sergeant Randy Perry responded to a motor vehicle crash in Harrington on the Marshville Road.

Deputy Sergeant Randy Perry gave a civil assist on Main Street in Cherryfield. Caller had an agreement with a tenant to buy a sofa and it was never paid for. Sergeant Perry determined this to be a civil matter.

Deputy Brandon Parker responded to Knock on Wood with a complaint of theft. Case is under investigation.

Deputy Sergeant Randy Perry responded to a complaint on Main Street in Cherryfield that juveniles were shooting BB guns and caller stated that the BBs were hitting his windows. Case is under investigation.

Deputy Sergeant Randy Perry responded to a report of a motor vehicle driving erratically in Harrington. Caller stated that vehicle approached him from behind him at a high rate of speed. Caller stated that he sped up to eighty miles per hour. Caller also stated that when he went to turn off on the Dorman Road, subject almost rear ended him. Caller knew who the subject was and told officer where to find him. Case is under investigation.

6/25/11:

Deputy Sergeant Tim Tabbutt responded to a call in Cherryfield. Caller stated that a female had been involved in a road race during Cherryfield Days.

Deputy Sergeant Tim Tabbutt responded to a report of a domestic dispute on Main Street in Cherryfield. Caller stated that a female subject pulled into her driveway and asked her to call the police as she was in an argument with her boyfriend. Case is under investigation.

Deputy Ryan Allen responded to a residential alarm in Machiasport.

Deputy Ryan Allen responded to a domestic dispute in Perry. Caller stated that her daughter was involved in a domestic dispute and reported that her daughter’s boyfriend had “punched her out.”
Subject had left the residence and caller’s daughter refused an ambulance.

Deputy Ryan Allen and Deputy and Sergeant Richard Rolfe did a bail check on a subject in Perry.

6/26/11:

Deputy Ryan Allen responded to a complaint of suspicious activity on Tenan Lane in Cherryfield. Caller could hear someone pounding on her wall. Case is under investigation.

Deputy Keith York received a complaint from a caller who is on bail. Caller stated that another person who is on bail may have violated their bail by coming around her.

Deputy Ryan Allen gave a civil assist to a caller from the South Lubec Road in Lubec. The assist was in reference to a property dispute.

Deputy Keith York took a complaint from a caller from Main Street in Jonesport. Caller states that kids are hanging out in front of the library. There have been issues of vandalism in the area lately.

Deputy Sergeant Tim Tabbutt responded to a complaint of harassment form a caller who says that caller’s ex husband is threatening her boyfriend.

Deputy Ryan Allen responded to a complaint of harassment for Route 1 in Whiting. Caller stated that he son is harassing her via phone from Massachusetts
