WEEKLY REPORT WASHINGTON COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE 06/13/11 TO 06/19/11

ITEMS OF INTEREST:

06/13/11:

Deputy Ryan Allen responded to a report of suspicious activity on the Coffin’s Neck Road in Lubec. Case is under investigation.

Deputy Ryan Allen and Deputy Sergeant Richard Rolfe responded to a domestic dispute on South Main Street in Whitneyville. Subject was transported to the Washington County Jail. Case is under investigation.

Deputy Ryan Allen responded to a commercial alarm on US Route 1 in Perry.

Deputy Ralph Pineo received a complaint of a missing juvenile in Machiasport. Case is under investigation.

Deputy Sergeant Tim Tabbutt received a complaint of theft of a couple of propane tanks from caller’s summer camp on Ripley Point in Harrington. Case is under investigation.

Deputy Sergeant Tim Tabbutt received a complaint of a domestic dispute between a father and daughter. Case is under investigation.

Deputy Ralph Pineo covered a theft complaint on the Port Road in Machiasport. Case is under investigation.

6/14/11:

Deputy Sergeant Richard Rolfe covered a complaint of criminal threatening in East Machias. Case is under investigation.

Deputy Sergeant Tim Tabbutt received a compliant of harassment in Steuben. Case is under investigation.

Deputy Sergeant Tim Tabbutt served a Order for Protection on Route 1A in Harrington.

Deputy John Peterson covered a complaint of theft at the Princeton Foodmart. A shoplifter was caught on camera. Case is under investigation.

Deputy Ryan Allen covered a motor vehicle accident on Route 192 Marshfield.

Sheriff Smith had a speaking engagement at the University of Maine in Machias.


6/15/11:

Deputy Brandon Parker responded to a commercial alarm in Whitneyville.

Deputy Keith York responded to a report of criminal mischief on Main Street in Meddybemps.

Deputy Sergeant Richard Rolfe and Deputy Keith York responded to a motor vehicle crash in Lubec on the South Lubec Road.

Deputy Ryan Allen responded to a motor vehicle crash on Main Street in Princeton.

Deputy Keith York responded to a call from Onstar who patched a caller who reported a car/deer accident on the Ridge Road and 192 intersection in Marshfield.

Deputy Lt. Travis Willey covered a report of a gas drive off at ABS Country Store in Columbia Falls. Case is under investigation.

6/16/11:

Deputy Sergeant Randy Perry responded to a well being check. Orono State Police passed down the information that a caller was extremely intoxicated and making statements about his wife dying sometime ago.

Deputy Sergeant Randy Perry gave a civil assist to a caller from Columbia Falls. Caller stated that she had a protection order on a subject and he has been on the premises today. Dispatch was unable to find any active protection order.

Deputy Sergeant Randy Perry received a report that two subjects who were on bail conditions were drinking. After doing a bail check Sgt. Perry transported one subject to the Washington County Jail.

Deputy Ryan Allen received drug related information from a caller located in Calais. Information was passed on the Calais Police Department. State Police were in the area and took the report for investigation.

Deputy Sergeant Richard Rolfe, Deputy Ralph Pineo and Deputy John Peterson attended a K-9
training.

Deputy Ryan Allen received a report of suspicious activity on the Straight Bay Road in Lubec. Caller advised that he had interrupted someone attempting to break into his residence at 4 am. No entry was made and case is under investigation.

Deputy Ryan Allen responded to a motor vehicle crash in Edmunds. An Irving Oil transport driver reported the accident. Caller stated car was off the road and nobody was around.

Deputy Brandon Parker assisted Machias PD with a suicidal subject who lives on the Marshfield Flats Road.


06/17/11:


Deputy Sergeant Randy Perry gave a civil assist to a caller on Feeney Street in Jonesport.

Deputy Brandon Parker did a well being check on the North Lubec road in Lubec.

Deputy Sergeant Randy Perry assisted the Maine Forestry Service who were executing a search warrant in South Addison.

Deputy Ralph Pineo responded to a report of suspicious activity. The caller stated that a bunch of cars were turning in his driveway on the East Shore Road in Whiting. Caller also stated that fireworks were going off and he thought there was probably a party near his residence.

Deputy Sergeant Tim Tabbutt responded to a juvenile complaint on the Mill Pond Road in Beals. Caller stated that the juvenile was drunk and vomiting all over himself. Caller also stated they did not need an ambulance but that he needed help.

06/18/11:

Deputy John Peterson did a well being check on a subject from Princeton. Caller stated that a subject had been leaving harassing messages and texting nasty pictures to him. Caller stated that subject was extremely intoxicated and he was concerned for the safety of her four children.

Deputy Travis Willey responded to a report of harassment in Cherryfield . Case is under investigation.

Deputy Brandon Parker gave a civil assist to a caller from Robbinston who stated that his neighbor had taken the key from his four wheeler and tossed it into the woods. Caller stated that subject does not want people to go up and down the road. Case is under investigation.

Deputy Ralph Pineo responded to a caller who stated that a subject was driving OUI from Machais to Lubec.

6/19/11:

Deputy Ryan Allen, Deputy Sergeant Richard Rolfe, Deputy Ralph Pineo responded to a apparent suicide on Main Street in Lubec. Case is under investigation.

Deputy Ryan Allen, Deputy Sergeant Richard Rolfe and Deputy Ralph Pineo responded to a report of disorderly conduct on Old Route One in Jonesboro.

Deputy Sergeant Richard Rolfe responded to a caller who stated that a dog had been hit and then the dog took off. The dog did not appear to be hurt and no damage was done to the vehicle.

Deputy Ralph Pineo responded to a report of a residential burglary in Big Lake Township. Caller stated that the theft was a bottle of Southern Comfort, Coffee Brandy and chips. Case is under investigation.

Deputy John Peterson responded to a report of suspicious activity on the North Lubec Road in Lubec. Caller stated that a male subject was seen Friday afternoon by the callers girlfriend talking with the callers two young children. Caller stated that the subject has had issues with most everybody who lives on the road and he is concerned for his children’s safety.

Deputy Sergeant Tim Tabbutt responded to a call of a female subject from Cherryfield was driving while under suspension.

Deputy Ralph Pineo responded to a car/deer accident in Baring.

Deputy Sergeant Tim Tabbutt responded to a complaint of harassment on the Mill Pond Road in Beals.
