Weekly Report 05/02/11 TO 05/08/11

05/02/11:

Deputy Sergeant Tim Tabbutt responded to a single vehicle car deer property damage crash on Us-Rt#1A in Milbridge.

Deputy Sergeant Tim Tabbutt responded to Ridge Road in Cherryfield to assist Bangor Hydro. Bangor Hydro Electric Company called reporting they need the Sheriff's Office to assist them with a customer who has been giving them death threats for no reason. Deputy Sergeant Tabbutt made contact and no further action.

Deputy Sergeant Richard Rolfe responded to Airline Road in Wesley for a harassment complaint. Subject calling reporting their child is receiving phone calls with messages left on the answering machine stating they would do harm to them. The Child is 16 years old and doesn't know what to do. Deputy Sergeant Rolfe is currently investigating the complaint.

Deputy Keith York responded to a domestic dispute on the Cutler Road in East Machias. Caller reporting an argument between a male and female with no assault yet. Deputy York responded and subjects agreed to separate for evening.

05/03/11:

Deputy Ryan Allen responded to a later report of a two vehicle property damage motor vehicle crash on Us-Rt#1 in East Machias.

Deputy Keith York responded to a threatening complaint on Main Street in Cherryfield. Caller reporting two brothers arguing over Elever Fishing and who owned the river. Deputy York responded and no charges.

Deputy Keith York responded to Ridge Road in Cherryfield for a report of suspicious activity. Caller reporting can hear banging coming from a residence next door. Looked and saw someone with flashlight then a subject run from the area. Deputy York arrived and located a door open and is currently investigating the complaint.

05/04/11:

Deputies from the Washington County Sheriff's Office, the US Marshals Service and Machias Police Department arrested a male subject at the Machias Medical Associates building in Machias.

Deputy Keith York responded to East Side Road in Addison for a criminal mischief complaint. Caller reporting someone took a baseball bat and smashed the mail box. Deputy York continues to investigated the call.

Deputy Ryan Allen responded to Us-Rt#1 in Whiting for a theft complaint. Caller reporting he was missing gun parts from a residential fire at his place in Whiting a few weeks back. Deputy Allen continues to investigate the case.

Deputy Kieth York responded to a single vehicle car deer crash on Sprague Falls Road in Steuben.

Deputy Sergeant Richard Rolfe received a harassment complaint from Ridge Road in Machiasport. The caller reporting being harassed and threaten by a collection company. Deputy Rolfe investigates with no charges.

Deputy Sergeant Richard Rolfe responded to Provost Point in PLT14 for criminal mischief. Caller reporting a cleaning service vandalized a camp and burned her personal belongings on the lawn. Deputy Sergeant Rolfe continues the investigation.

Deputy Keith York responded to RP Boat Shop in Steuben for a found property call. Caller reporting just located a dirt bike in a trailer owned by them and has no idea who owns it. Deputy York is investigating the complaint.

Deputy Keith York received a civil complaint between a renter and tenant in Steuben. Parties disputing over a electric bill increase. No charges

Deputy Brandon Parker responded to a civil dispute at Bud Rose Trailer Park in Princeton. The dispute is between two parties and ownership of a chainsaw. No charges.


05/05/11:

Deputy Sergeant Randy Perry responded to Indian River Road in Addison for a bail check. Female was arrested on violation of conditions of release.

Deputy Keith York responded to Main Street in Harrington to assist the Maine State Police with a domestic assault. Investigation is a Maine State Police case.

Deputy Ralph Pineo responded to Uncle Kippy's in Lubec for an open door. The owner was notify to have the door fixed it could not be secured. It appeared no entry was made.

Deputy Lieutenant Travis Willey arrested a male subject at the Sheriff's Office who was wanted on a Machias District Court Warrant. Subject booked at Washington County Jail for bail.



05/06/11

Deputy Sergeant Randy Perry responded to a call from East Machias, caller stating his wife was driving around in a car with no insurance. Caller gave plate number. Case is under investigation

Deputy Sergeant Tim Tabbutt responded to a call from Cherryfield Foods. Caller stated holes had been drill in the fuel tank of a tractor. Case is under investigation.

Deputy Sergeant Randy Perry responded to a complaint of a male subject was standing on the Upper Corner Bridge and there was a warrant for his arrest.

Sheriff Smith went to Bay Ridge School to do a speaking engagement.

Deputy Sergeant Tim Tabbutt received a complaint at the Estates Road on Cherryfield. Compliant stated a theft occurred of medication. Case is under investigation.

Sheriff Smith went to a speaking engagement in Machias.

Deputy Sergeant Tim Tabbutt assist Hancock County Sheriff's Office in locating a female runaway.

Deputy Sergeant Tim Tabbutt and Deputy Brandon Parker investigated an anonymous complaint of an underage drinking party in Steuben. Subject was arrested.


5/7/11

Deputy Lt. Travis Willey made a vehicle stop on the Pea Ridge Road in Columbia. Subject was arrested for operating under the influence.

Deputy Sergeant Randy Perry responded to a property damage single vehicle crash scene in Pembroke. Report was taken.

5/8/11

Deputy Ralph Pineo responded to a call of a yellow Mustang going seventy plus miles per hour on Route 1. Caller stated there was a child in back with no seatbelt on. Depty Pineo could not make contact with the vehicle.

Deputy Sergeant Tim Tabbutt responded a complaint in Milbridge. Caller stated a red truck had hit a lightpole at the Bayside Market and driver fled the scene. Case is under investigation.

Deputy Tim Tabbutt responded to a report of a runaway on the Basin Road in Addison.

Deputy Ryan Allen responded to East Machias for a call of an ATV driving in an erratic manner. It was reported the ATV was driving down the middle of the road on Old Route 1.

Deputy Ryan Allen responded to a moose/vehicle accident in Cooper.
