WEEKLY REPORT WASHINGTON COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE 05/25/12 TO 05/31/12

05/25/12:

Deputy Sergeant Randy Perry responded to a property damage traffic crash at the Gulf Station in Milbridge.

Deputy Brandon Parker responded to a possible break in at the Town Garage in Lubec. The investigation continues.

Deputy Sergeant Richard Rolfe and Deputy Ryan Allen utilized Sergeant Rolfe and his K-9 partner Stryker to look for evidence at the intersection of Hadley Lake Road and Marshfield Ridge Road. No evidence was recovered.

Deputy Brandon Parker responded to Lubec to receive some needles an unknown female had located in Lubec.

Deputy Lieutenant Travis Willey responded to a theft complaint of a metal anchor at 142 Cape Split Road in Addison. Investigation is still open and active.

Deputy Lieutenant Travis Willey received drug related information indicating a subject was growing marijuana in Beals. Investigation is still open and active.

Deputy Lieutenant Travis Willey responded to a fireworks complaint at 33 Wyman Road in Milbridge.

05/26/12:

Deputy Lieutenant Travis Willey responded to US Route 1 in Cherryfield for two cows in the road causing traffic issues. When Lieutenant Willey arrived a bystander had corralled the animals for the owner.

Deputy Lieutenant Travis Willey responded to a motor vehicle complaint on US Route 1 in Steuben. Caller reported a tan Oldsmobile driving around Steuben not registered.

Deputy Lieutenant Travis Willey responded to a disorderly complaint on the Heat Road in Milbridge. Damien Rumery from Prospect Harbor, Maine was arrested on a violation of conditions of release.

Deputy Lieutenant Travis Willey responded to Centerville Road in Columbia Falls for a report of disorderly conduct. Caller reporting a female and a male were driving around possibly operating under the influence.

Deputy Sergeant Richard Rolfe received a report of two ATVs riding up and down the Ridge Road in Cherryfield.

Deputy Sergeant Richard Rolfe responded to Indian River Road in Jonesport for a criminal threatening complaint. Female caller reported another female had threatened her. Investigation still open and active.

05/27/12:

Deputy Sergeant Richard Rolfe responded to a loud noise complaint on the Fire Road in Jonesport. Caller reported a residence next door was playing loud music and having a party. Subjects warned.

Deputy Lieutenant Travis Willey responded to a residential alarm on the Station Road in Beals. Alarm unfounded.

Deputy Lieutenant Travis Willey responded to East Side Road in Addison for an information complaint. Caller reported a subject had the power shut off and was not authorized. Investigation ongoing.

Deputy Lieutenant Travis Willey responded to a report of criminal mischief on the Basin Road in Jonesport. Male caller reported his mail box had been smashed. Investigation continues.

Deputy Lieutenant Travis Willey assisted the Maine Marine Patrol in locating some suspected clam diggers digging with no license off the Wharf Road in Roque Bluffs.

Deputy Lieutenant Travis Willey received a commercial alarm at RW Matthews on Milbridge Road in Milbridge. Unfounded.

05/28/12:

Deputy Ralph Pineo responded to a noise complaint on Main Street in Jonesport. Caller reported hollering and screaming coming from an apartment in the same building. Complaint unfounded.

Deputy Sergeant Richard Rolfe received a report from a female caller she was propositioned by a male subject on the Milbridge Road in Cherryfield and was concerned he may stalk her. Nothing further.

Deputy Sergeant Richard Rolfe responded to a complaint of violation of protection order on Dyers Bay Road in Steuben. Female caller reported she had a protection order out on a male subject and he was at the residence banging on the door. Male subject was arrested for violation of protection order.

Deputy Lieutenant Travis Willey and Deputy Sergeant Richard Rolfe responded to residential alarm with an open door on the Pyne Cove Road in Steuben. Complaint unfounded.

Deputy Sergeant Randy Perry responded to a 9-1-1 hang up on Cappy's Way in Milbridge. Complaint was unfounded.

Deputy Ralph Pineo responded to a theft complaint on Youngs Cove Road in Pembroke. Caller reported someone had been using the credit card without permission. Investigation continues.

Deputy Ralph Pineo responded to residential alarm Windy Ridge Lane in Charlotte. Alarm unfounded.

05/29/12:

Deputy Sergeant Richard Rolfe received a civil assist call on Cape Split Road in Addison. Dispute over property with neighbor.

Deputy Ryan Allen responded to Water Street in East Machias for a 9-1-1 call. Subject pocket dialed 9-1-1. Unfounded.

Deputy Ryan Allen received a call from the Puffin Pines in Whiting. The caller provided information with regard to a male that had just stopped in and left with Florida Plates on the vehicle. He made statements he was from Perry. Deputy Allen did not locate the vehicle.

Deputy Ryan Allen received a call on the Station Road in Charlotte of a subject stealing metal from the old rail road tracks. Investigation is still open and active.

Deputy Sergeant Richard Rolfe responded to the Heath Road in Milbridge to remove a male subject from a residence. Caller reported her son was causing problems and would not leave. Sergeant Rolfe arrived and subject left and was on foot.

Deputy Ryan Allen received a report from Corey Lane in Lubec of vehicle racing around. Jeep nearly struck a pedestrian.

Deputy Lieutenant Travis Willey received a pocket dialed 9-1-1 call on the Dam Road in Beddington. Unfounded.

Deputy Ryan Allen received a call from Route 214 in Charlotte of a Blue Ford Taurus passing a stopped school bus. Investigation is open and active.

Deputy Sergeant Randy Perry assisted in providing an oversize boat escort from Addison to Machiasport.

Deputy Brandon Parker responded to a single vehicle property damage crash on the Milbridge Road in Cherryfield.


05/30/12:

Deputy Sergeant Rich Rolfe answered a residential alarm in Jonesport.

Deputy Sergeant Randy Perry responded to a harassment complaint in Steuben.

Deputy Sergeant Tim Tabbutt responded to a theft complaint at the Family Dollar Store in Milbridge.

Deputy Sergeant Tim Tabbutt responded to a harassment complaint Kelly Road Milbridge.

05/31/12:

Deputy Sergeant Randy Perry responded to a theft complaint in Columbia. Caller advised that someone had taken the license plates off his vehicle.

Deputy Sergeant Randy Perry responded to a driving under the influence complaint in Addison.

Deputy Lieutenant Travis Willey and Deputy Brandon Parker responded to a complaint of sexual assault in East Machias. An eighteen year old subject was arrested.

Deputy Ralph Pineo served protection order on subject at the South Bay Campground in Lubec.

Deputy Randy Perry responded to complaint of theft of a political sign on Route 1 Cherryfield.

Deputy Ralph Pineo responded to complaint on Route 1 East Machias of juveniles throwing debris in the road.

Deputy Sergeant Tim Tabbutt responded to the Mason Bay Road Jonesport of speeding vehicle.
