WEEKLY REPORT WASHINGTON COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE 02/17/12 TO 02/23/12

02/17/12:

Deputy Sergeant Richard Rolfe responded to an accident on the Jacksonville Road in East Machias.

Deputy Sergeant Richard Rolfe and Deputy Chris Correll assisted RH Foster who was try to retrieve a propane tank from a residence in Milbridge.

Deputy Chris Correll covered an accident on the Cannon Hill Road in Pembroke.

Deputy Zidalis responded to a jail incident at the Washington County Jail in Machias.

Deputy Chis Correll assisted the Machias PD in Machias.

Deputy Chris Correll covered a car/deer accident on Route 1 in Edmunds.

Deputy Chris Correll covered a residential burglary in Lubec.

Deputy Sergeant Randy Perry assisted a caller with a domestic situation on Austin House Lane in Addsion.

Deputy Ralph Pineo responded to a complaint of criminal mischief on the Lead Mine Road in Lubec.

Deputy Sergeant Randy Perry took a motor vehicle complaint in Cherryfield. Caller stated a car was headed to Cherryfield from Franklin going at a high rate of speed.

Deputy Sergeant Randy Perry covered a car/deer accident on Route 187 in Addison.

Deputy Sergeant Randy Perry covered a complaint of suspicious activity on the Ridge Road in Addison.

02/18/12:

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search warrant in Lubec. Three subjects were arrested and charged with drug related crimes. The subjects were transported to the Washington County Jail.

Deputy Sergeant Randy Perry covered a complaint of assault in Cherryfield.

Deputy Sergeant Randy Perry responded to a complaint of suspicious activity at the Pleasant River Transfer Station in Columbia Falls.

Deputy Sergeant Randy Perry and Milbridge Police Department responded to a 911 hang up call.

Deputy Sergeant Tim Tabbutt responded to a report of suspicious activity on the Addison Road in Addison. Caller stated there was a suspicious vehicle parked behind the Machias Savings Bank in Addison.

Deputy Chris Correll responded to a complaint of theft on Route 1 in Whiting. Caller reported that the fuel barrel had been siphoned.

Deputy Chris Correll took a complaint involving a juvenile on the Crossroad in Dennysville.

Deputy Chris Correll conducted a wellbeing check on a residence in East Machias. Caller stated that a vehicle had been left running in the driveway for about three hours. Caller stated that he went over to the house and no one came to the door and it seemed as if no one was home.

02/19/12:

Deputy Chris Correll responded to a commercial alarm at the Charlotte School in Charlotte.

Deputy Sergeant Randy Perry assisted the Maine State Police with 911 pocket dial in East Machias.

Deputy Randy Perry responded along with the Machias Police Department to the Downeast Community Hospital. Caller stated that a one year old infant has injuries that the mother was claiming the father may have inflicted.

Deputy Brandon Parker arrested a subject on a warrant of arrest at Lubec Customs in Lubec.

Deputy John Peterson assisted the Maine State Police with a bail check on Route 1A in Machias.

Deputy Sergeant Tim Tabbutt responded to a motor vehicle complaint on Route 1 in Steuben.

Deputy Sergeant Tim Tabbutt responded to Elmer’s Discount Store in Columbia.

02/20/12:

Deputy Chris Correll assisted a caller from West Street in Princeton.

Deputy Chris Correll covered a single vehicle accident on the Yates Point Road in Big Lake Township.

Deputy Chris Correll responded to a complaint of persons fighting on Route 1 in Princeton.

Deputy Chris Correll arrested a subject on a warrant for arrest in Danforth.

Deputy Ryan Allen assisted a caller from the Ridge Road in Steuben with a property dispute.

Deputy Ryan Allen responded to a complaint of suspicious activity on Route 1 in Whiting.

02/21/12:

Deputy John Peterson responded to a request for a wellbeing check on the Calais Road in Danforth.

Deputy Sergeant Tim Tabbutt responded to a landlord/tenant dispute on Stevens Drive in Steuben.

Deputy John Peterson assisted a caller needing assistance getting his belongings from a residence in Lubec.

Deputy Chief Mike St. Louis assisted Jonesport Pizza with a bad check complaint.

Deputy Ryan Allen responded to a landlord/tenant complaint on the North Lubec Road in Lubec.

Deputy Sergeant Richard responded to a complaint of criminal threatening in Harrington.

Deputy Ryan Allen responded to a report of criminal trespass on the County Road in Lubec.

Deputy Ryan Allen assisted the Maine State Police in the Perry area with a child who was not returned to the legal guardian.

02/22/12:

Deputy Ryan Allen was requested to do a well being check at the Princeton Mainway in Princeton.

Deputy Ryan Allen received a complaint of suspicious activity on the South Princeton Road in Princeton.

Deputy Ryan Allen responded to a complaint of suspicious activity on Route 1 in Robbinston.

Deputy Richard Rolfe, Chief Deputy Mike St. Louis and Deputy Keith York responded to a juvenile complaint in Machias. Caller was in the car with her daughter who was out of control. The juvenile female kicked the windshield out of the cruiser as she was being transported to the Down East Community Hospital.

Deputy Ralph Pineo responded to a complaint of harassment on Grant Road in Cherryfield.

Deputy Ralph Pineo responded to a complaint of harassment in Steuben. Caller stated that his daughter’s ex-boyfriend is calling them and threatening to kill himself, if the caller’s daughter doesn’t come to visit him. Caller advised that subject does have weapons in his house.

Deputy Ralph Pineo was requested to do a well being check on a subject on the Big Ridge Road in Addison.

Deputy Ralph Pineo was requested to do a well being check at the Boat Landing in Addison.

Deputy Ralph Pineo covered a car/deer accident on the Tibbettstown Road in Columbia Falls.

02/23/12:

Deputy Keith York responded to a 911 hang up on Route 1 in Columbia.

Deputy Keith York responded to a complaint of criminal mischief on Park Street in Cherryfield.

Deputy Sergeant Randy Perry responded to a report of a violation of a protection order on the East Side Road in Addison.

Deputy Sergeant Randy Perry responded to an car/deer accident on the Mason Road in Jonesport.

Deputy Brandon Parker responded to an accident in Perry. Caller stated that she had ran into her mailbox at the end of her driveway.

Deputy Ralph Pineo responded to an unattended death on High Street in Lubec.

Deputy Brandon Parker responded to an accident on Route 1 in Pembroke. There were two people injured and the jaws of life were required.

Deputy Brandon Parker responded to an accident on Route 9 in Wesley.

Deputy Sergeant Randy Perry responded to an accident on Route 1A in Jonesboro.
